Default trans fluid?

so last night i looked at my tranny dipstick and it was low. couldnt see any fluid except a tony amount on the bottom curl. i added 2 quarts and half a bottle of lucas transmission trwatment and checked this morning( about 12 hours after adding fluids) and half the stick was red with fluid. i credited this to the lucas oil having the viscosity of syrup and some just sitting in the dip stick tube. it drives fine and doesnt seem like its shifting late or harder just a tad more noticable that its shifting by feeling it in the cab. do i need to go pump some fluid out?

Change it, the lucas might have thickened the fluid, electronic transes dont like thick fluid, it hampers the solenoids, Fords also like new fluid. Had the same problem in my old Tbird, changed fluid and ran good.
