How often should the trans pan filter be changed?

I would say every 30 to 50 thousand miles. If you're using conventional ATF, every 30. If you're using synthetic ATF, every 50. Basically change it at these 30 or 50 intervals with your fluid.

If you have it flushed ever 30,000 you souldent have to change your filter. If you have not done this in the past you will need to replace the filter. After that i would change the filter ever 60.000 and the fluid ever 30,000

You should definitely change your filter regularly even if you flush your fluid. The filter traps small particles of metal and clutch band material and will clog just like your oil filter. I would say 50k.
