Hello All,, Can anybody tell me ifa '72 F100 auto trans will boltup toa '91 F150 5.0?? any advice will be gladly welcome. thanksalot

Need a little more info here... what engine is in the 72?

And 95, if his tranny is shot, a c6 is a beast for a 3 speed auto and would make a fine replacement if its free/cheap, otherwise id stick with an aode or e4od

 

my '72 is a 390 / 3-speed auto and my '91 is a 302 / 4-speed aod. Will the trannies interchange?

 

No. The FE engines have a different pattern from the small block Windsor Fords.
