The other day I was driving my 1989 f-150 with a 302 and AOD and it kept slipping between 3rd and 4th and then all of the sudden every gear was slipping and I could not move at all, not even in 1st or reverse.

So I am not very familiar with trannies and dont really know what all could go wrong with them, but is there something simple that this could be or is this tranny just shot and needs a rebuild?
