I have a 92 150 4wd 302 auto. Tranny tech said he thought the low gear sprag was going south. Also said it was $2000 for rebuild. But he didn't tell me which tranny I got. He just said it's the big one. It has overdrive on the shifter if that matters. Like to know what it is. Maybe look for used one. Thanks for your help.

 

That would be the E4OD.

 

You have an early model E4OD. Be advised that there are a lot of upgrades the transmission will need. Lots of parts in pre-95 E4ODs need to be updated.
