Default tranny locks up in reverse

my 95 ford f150 with 5.8 want move in reverse i was thanking it was rear end since my speedo would jump alot rebuilt rear end and it was real bad i put a set of 355 gears in her fixed speedo but stell locking up in reverse drives forword like normal == anybody have sugestions how to fix

Remove transmission pan and the filter is probably sitting in the pan. Put it back up into its nesting place and (if you feel so inclined) find the new clips they've made to prevent this from happening again

well i droped pan filter was were it belonged = i found a lot of metal = well time to fined a differant tranny i've had this one rebuilt before it suck wanted to keep it aregal

Sorry to hear that
How long ago was it rebuilt? maybe for the next one if you can afford it, a remote mounted transmission filter and/or auxilary transmission cooler to help extend the life of it.

it was rebilt about 120 thousand miles ago = i can't complain = i do have to say she has 210 thousand mile on truck never had problem with motor = well thanking of putting stick in her maybe well wake my lighting up
