Help! My trans is leaking fluid from the dipstick pipe! Is this a pressure issue? Heat? Fluids? I'm changing out my coolant soon and I taking some Purple Power to the exterior to the trans but is there anything I should know? '94 4.9 E40D

 

Is it leaking from the top of the tube or where the dip stick tube enters the trans?

 

Yeah at first I thought I over filled it but I checked and re-checked and the levels were fine.

 

It seems to only happen on the highway and is worse in the day.

 

my friends 88 Toyota supra is doing the same thing, we cant figure out what is causing it, would be nice to know though lol.
