I building a 351w for my 94. It will be a carb engine, removing my 4.9l. question is I now have a 5 speed manual, but later in the year I'm gonna switch to a auto is there a Ford tranny that's a 4 speed auto that would work with a carb engine.

 

You would need a stand alone controller for the electronics. I think maybe baumann. pricey.

 

The original AOD is a 4 speed auto that isn't electronically controlled. I guess they can be a pain to get set up though.
