Default trail rig ideas

I'll start by telling y'all what vehicle im starting with. It's a 89 f150 reg cab long box 4x4 5.0 m5r2 5speed. What I am thinking is to remove the cab sense it's rusted to pieces anyways and put a crew cab on it . Straight axle moved forward 6" with the fenders cut accordingly and ditching the rear leafs for coils and radius arms moved back 8" and some kind of custom flat bed on it. Roof rack , custom bumpers and some sort of exo cage. 5.5" lift deaver super flex coils front and back and maybe 39.5 tires. What do y'all think ? Any ideas that could make this list of thoughts better would be much appreciated. Oh by the way I'll be running trails and camping out of this rig with my wife and to kids.

So you're essentially making a crew cab version of a Bronco, but with a small bed? Is that the general idea? I'm trying to picture this in my head.

Well basically making a crew cab but extremely short bed thats capable of taking on some hard trails . I got inspired for this new rig by a show on history channel called off road warriors Alaska. Im also thinking of a snorkel intake and exhaust stacks for deep water crossing .

Ok. So what crew box are you thinking about? The same Gen or a different one?

If you're moving the axle forward, are you thinking full long travel suspension, or something mid like a prerunner?

What level of lift are you looking at going with? With such a short wheel base your center of gravity will come into play a lot more.
