Default tire size

i put in a forum once before but i recently went on a tdy so i just got back to base. my question is what is the biggest size tire i can put on my 89 f150 2wd? and its stock. if some one can help it would be great thank you.

31x10.50 seems to be the biggest you can normally do. However, some report that 33's will work on some trucks maybe due to wheel offset.

I've got 31x10.5 on my 88 4x4. I'm pretty sure I can't go any bigger though.

Dude, 31x10.50's is all i'd go. Before I got my 95' lifted I had 31's on it and they still rubbed a little in the front when i turned.

yea i got an 89 4x4, 33 is too big, get a leveling kit if you want something bigger than a 31

I have 31's and they didn't rub before I put my F350 springs on the front. Now that it sits up an extra 2", 33's might be fine although 31's are the biggest I will go on this one. I still think it has at least a little to do with your wheel offset.
