tire question
Not aware of any sure-fire pressure specs for that tire/wheel combo.
One suggestion is to put a bit too much air in, say 35psi, and see how the tread contacts the pavement. Two of the things I use are a water puddle and a gravel road. Drive through the puddle and drive straight for a few tire revolutions, then see if the tread width is equally dry indicating good, or wet on the edges indicating too much air. Alternatively, drive down the gravel road, then straight on pavement for a few turns looking for the same, only with dust instead of water. Once you get in the ballpark, monitor the treadwear across the width every 1,000 miles or so, and tweak pressures as needed.
For reference, my Jeep CJ5 has 33x12.50s on 15x12-inch rims - found that 22psi front and 18 psi rear works best, still wearing a bit more in the center than I like, but the lowest I'm willing to go before it starts feeling really too greasy for my liking on the roads. Figure you're likely to end up in the high 20-psi range??? Just have to find a happy medium between treadwear and handling. JMO...

I hated that about working at discount tire. Customers would always say that they have their pressure set to the "sidewall specs". I laughed and always said why not set it to what the car manufacturer recommends?
I have 33.12.50x15 on 10" wide wheels I run 28-30 on street. I'll air down to 22-25 for off road.

I dont see the problem.. I run 31x10.50 15s on my 95 and 84 f150`s and I set mine at 40-45 psi. Never had a problem, 22,000 miles on both set of tires and they still look good.
