tire preferences??
i have a 1993 f150 4x4. im currently running some old 33x12.50x15's they have a decent amount of tread left, but they are cracked like crazy. they still hold air just fine, but they will need replaced here soon. im just wondering what you guys prefer as far as an all around tire?
i'd like to stick to the same size and to be 800 or less. i do alot of highway driving as this is my daily driver, but i want it to be capable off road, in the snow, rain and so on.
i've priced a set of yokohama geolander m/ts for 808. i've run them before, but am curious as to what everyone else is running and why.

I have the same truck you do and I run BFG All Terrain. They are the best tires I have ever had. I have bought two sets one for my truck now and my other truck. They wear like steel and have made a name for themselves and live up to it. I got them for $875 from America Tire.
i love my cooper discovery S/T's 25k or so miles and they still look new. i payed about 550 for mine new, and there just the stock tire size. my fiances dad uses them on his ram 2500 and he beats the hell out of them. never had a flat, so i decided to try them out. there great for me off road and in snow. not to bad on the road noise either, only gets "bad" right before you need to rotate them.

I just put these on 94 XLT, so far they seem like a good tire.

well for 33s its going to be tough to get a good solid tire like the bfg all terrains for under 800 for 4 mounted and balanced. i do recommend looking at the rugged terrains they are like the all terrains but lean more towards on road use but still can go rock crawling with them i think they actually have better sidewall tread then the all terrain in my option. I might be getting a set for my rig this fall or sooner

Not to mention they're cheaper- I'm about to pickup a set myself.

118/per but I get a dealer discount.
48 for mount / balance
I hope to have it all done for under 550.
although that's if you ignore the powder coat job
which was just over 40/ wheel
i've run the BFG all terrains and was only impressed by how quiet they were compared to my mudders i had on before. i rotated the tires every other oil change and had horrible wear on them
i looked up the cooper st's and stt's and they look sick. i wanted to go with the st maxx, but the smallest rim they go is 16" they've also gotten outstanding reveiws that i've seen. i priced a set online for 33's a set of 4 for about 650. so thats not bad at all. and mounting and balancing at the shop i go to is only about 15 a tire.
im still looking for an e rated on a 15" rim, but the more i look, the more i dont think its going to happen. hahaha i'm glad for the feedback from you guys and welcome more info and opinions as i am probably gonna have to finish winter with what i got. lol
