Default timming

i tried to do the timming on my 94 ford f150 4.9l but i cant seem to figure out which wire to disconnect forr the advanced timing. it doesnt have vacuum hose to the distributor and if i disconnect wireing hareness to disributor it cuts off. Without the timing advance off #1 cylinder seems to be firing between 120 and 180 degrees off. i had to look under truck to find where the timing marker was.

You're looking for the spout connector. It's located next to the TFI module and may have black clothe tape holding it in if the truck has never been timed before.

Should look like this, on the fender wall on the drivers side.
