Default Timing Mark

I need a little help please. I had to rebuild the top end of my motor. I am all done now and need to do the timing but I have a small issue. I see the timing marks on the balancer but I am not sure what part of the timing mark to use. It does say TIME on it so do I use that spot? If someone could please help me this is all I have left to do and would really like to finish it soon. Thanks in advance.

To make things easier, you may paint a white line on the 10°BTC mark if your inductive timing light cannot be adjusted. If the timing can be set on the timing light, make a mark on 0°BTC. Pull the spout shorting bar and time the engine to 10-14°BTC, when you are done put the shorting bar back and make sure the PCM is advancing the timing to approx 20°BTC.

Thnaks for the help. There is a small plaque on the underside of the hood that has info such as firing order and timing degree. Mine is to be set at 10 degrees. Do I use the red mark spot on the pic to align the 10 degree too?
