Default timing advance?

Curious. My balancer reads: right10....0.....10......20.....left facing up with feet hanging out of front of vehicle. Curious where to set timing and bout how much to advance? which way to advance as well. Is advance right to left or left to right? Ty in advance.

Touch o' dyslexia?. (when you check w/ the timing light, you'll see it read on the correct side)
Right of 0 >. 10 BTDC is stock. more advance can get better performance & mpg, but also propensity for ping.

Start w/ 12BTDC & see how that goes. Watch for ping under load.

DO NOT ADJUST TIMING W/ SPOUT PLUG IN PLACE! SPOUT plug in place will show your ECU adjusted timing (ECU advance + base advance). Not your base timing.
