Common on those is the bypass sticks and it puts the oil back in the pan instead of thru the engine... but when things get worn tolerances are wide and oil2 pressure drops... are you sure the gauge you used was accurate?


if it was a 2 wheel drive i'd prolly pull the pan and take a look... 4 wheel drive I'd just drive it....
Its a 4 wheel drive. I bought the gauge for $20 and hooked it up direct I hope it works.

That is what is puzzling me is it says i have low oil and you would think i would hear some knocking at 4psi but there is no knocking of any kind it runs smooth as silk!

can you powerbrake it and produce a knock anywhere in the rpm from off idle to part throttle? if not dont worry about it
