Throttle spacer?

Default Throttle spacer?

I recently installed a throttle spacer on my 1989 f150 5.0/302, and I have been getting weird throttle response, I thought you were suppose to get better response, Suggestions please.Thanks

I've never heard much good about them. The extra reach has probably got your throttle cable out of adjustment.

take it off and scrap it. unless your running nitrous, its like pissin into the wind.

Spacers only work on carbed engines, they lengthen the airflow path allowing for better mixing of the fuel air mix fuel injected engines spray atomize the fuel under pressure mixing the mix faster and more complete.
