Default Thermostat Replacement

FINALLY got this done yesterday afternoon. What a pain in the ***** because of where it's at (88 F150, 4x4, 302)...well, more what's around it and next to it and right on top of it. Anyway...I think it was stuck open, because the temperature never went past the left side of the "O" in Normal and the heat was never super hot. Drove it last night and the heat was blazing and the gauge was moving.

Not sure if it was stuck open, or not. My 96 F150 never gets above the O in normal either, but I have some serious heat in the winter. Either way, glad it worked out for ya!

Take off everything you can to get to it, and buy a short open end wrench for the bolt on the driver's side...I didn't have enough room for a 1/2" socket...
