Default temp. gauge

can anybody tell me where the temperature sender unit is for the temp. gauge on the dash for an 88 straight 6. my haynes manual says on the right rear side of the block below the head. I have found the oil pressure sender so if you know where it is in relation to that it would be great. thanks

The oil pressure sending unit is on the driver side of the block, at about the 2 o'clock position up from the oil filter.

The coolant temperature sending unit is on the passenger side of the block, at the rear, near where the head and block join up.

thank you by the directions in the book it said the right rear and I was thinking it meant right side from the front like you'd be looking at it while your working on it.
