TB Question
Hey gang. I have a 94 5.0 AT that im trying to fix up. I went to look at replacing the TPS as the voltage is way off, but when I removed the throttle arm shield and went to remove the arm itself, it pretty much fell off. I know this should snap on and off, but this thing will bounce right off if I open the throttle and let it spring back into place. Is there a retaining clip missing or is the hole in the arm just worn out? Also anyone know where a good parts source is? My local junkyards dont have anything and what few parts I found online seem to be performance upgrades in the hundreds of dollars.
Rockauto dosnt seem to have anything, although I can apparently send it out and have it repaired for 80 bux.. not feeling that price. If I could find a new/used arm and replace it that would rock, a whole throttle body seems excessive but If i got one on the cheap it wouldnt be that big a deal as i have to remove it to change the tps anyway.
Thanks for any input

Exactly what piece are you talking about? The throttle cable should snap on to a metal ball on the TB. The piece that allows it to snap on is inside the end of the throttle cable. Not a part on the TB itself. If that's the case you need another throttle cable.

My main question tho is is there a retention clip/C-Clip that goes over the top of that arm or does it just press on and ride on that post? from the pic and a video I watched it sorta looked like there was a clip that I may be missing.
