Drive it, love it, and be happy with it. I LOVE Ford trucks with a passion unmatched by anyone, and I understand that there are other brands that people love just as much, and I respect that. I ask that I and my fellow Ford Fanatics be shown the same respect, and not be talked to with such childish stupidity such as the things you have said. Its not necessary because I'm NEVER gonna change my opinion on which of the two builds a more RELIABLE truck. Ford. Chevrolet's generally ride better, and usually get better milage, seem to hold a better resale value, but they are not built as strong as Ford. If you want pretty and dazzling, I agree, buy a Chevy, but if you want brute strength, buy a Ford.
I respect your love and admiration for Chevrolet, it's what make this so fun, I mean if everybody drove Ford's then there would be no competition, and competition is what makes the two brands continue to strive for perfection, which neither has yet to achieve. So carry on my friend, enjoy your truck of choice, but leave the ridiculous comments on the playground.

Haven't actually tried a Torx bit in mine - but they look like the standard 6-point Torx bits. Since your model is a couple of years older - perhaps it's just a standard large-bit Phillips?

Trivia - the Phillips screw was used for its 'self-centering' advantages over the standard 'blade'-tipped screws. Of course, using the wrong-sized driver in either screw leads to 'stripping-out' or rounding issues.
