well i have a good deal to buy a roller 302 ho out of a mustang with a t-5 behind it fresh rebuild edelbrock intake all the goody's for 400$ and i heard it run today. would my transfercase bolt to the back of the t-5? or is there an adaptor i can buy for it to work? thanks in advance.

No, besides the shifter is too far back for the truck, the t5 never was made for a truck, the geometry is all wrong. I will fit a 2wd but the shifter will probably hit the seat.
