Hello, I have a 89 f150 with a 94 mustang gt 5.0 and a 94 f150 tranny. I am running stock hight. It may have stiffer springs in the back as they are blue in color and look newer???
I have a 5 speed shortbox with the quad shocks in the front. I am running 33x12.5 bfg at ko's. I want to level the front then go up about 2 inches. My truck rides fairly ruff right now. What suspension lift would you recommend for best ride quality? Low cost is good but not most important as I will have this truck the rest of my life. My father gave it to me and his dad gave it to him. I just did a bare metal restore on it.

I have the exact same truck lol But one year newer lol Same size engine, 5spd, quad shocks....lol

 

Blue shocks in the back prolly monroe which are a good cheap shock and they also ride pretty smooth for $20 a pair. Just remember the shocks aft the axle in the front are shorter than the front. As far as leveling the front get some cheap variable leveling springs which would help your ride better than spacers.

 

Its blue springs not shocks? any idea on that?

because it is cool to paint your suspension parts, fun colors

 

its for sure original paint on the springs, they look newer too. who knows, prob just some generic replacement stuff. maybe stiffer, it had a liftgate on it when I got so he was hauling some weight.
