Default Supercharger?

Anyone got some input on what supercharger to buy?

It's for a 1996 5.0 4x4 SWB f150.

If you looking torque go with a root/screw type blower, like kenny belle. If looking for power I always had luck with Vortechs. Had a few of them on mustangs and never had any probelms. They usally start coming in around 2500-3000 depending on lower pulley set-up.

Do you need to make your own? I've been looking but no one has a kit for a 95f150. I see jegs.com has one and that's about it.

You can probably use a paxton type from a mustang, it bolts onto the front of the motor, but remember MASS AIR is needed to use the blower unless there it is set up for speed density.
