How many miles or is it a rebuilt block? Which supercharger are you considering? It most certainly can be done but it is a decent amount of work and money.

Generally speaking with a healthy engine and proper supporting mods (fuel pump, injectors, ecu tuning, etc) you can expect about 10 crank hp for every 1lb of boost.

Research and make sure it will work with a speed density system, usually turbos like carbs or mass air.

you want fairly low compression for a supercharger

exactly cause what the super charger does is force more air and fuel causing higher comp which is a prob to most people cause they put it on not knowing this and destroy there engine what im saying is build it with one . . . or build it without one but raise the compression aka flat top pistons with reliefs and smaller comb chambers

Pretty much but good luck finding an engine that can withstand that much psi.

Even a Teksid block couldn't take that....
