Default Super Cooling vs. Regular

How can I tell if I have a Regular cooling system vs. a Super cooling system?

If you can find the build sheet on the truck, it should list which of all the variations for everything were used on your truck. Not sure where they're putting them nowadays - mine was stuck up underneath the seat in the springs.

I think you can contact Ford directly for a copy of the build sheet - however, don't have any further details.

A good, but not guaranteed, sign is if you have the OEM tranny cooler - it sits in front of the A/C condenser, about 4x9 inches or so.

I have the heavy duty tow package & cooling system,it has a trans cooler in the rad. & an externel trans cooler also, sway bars front and rear, dual core radiator. I could never find my build sheet but if you have these options then you probly have the heavy-duty cooling system.

I did not find my build sheet and I don't have an external trans cooler but it appears that I do have a super cooling radiator. It's 2 1/4 inches thick and if you look on the ends where the tanks attach to the core there is a space between the two cooling rows. I'm going to add a B&M cooler and should be all set for trailer towing.

Thanks for your input gang.
