Default Stuck hub

Alright... So earlier today I went to repack my front right wheel bearing due to a small squeek. I've taken apart my entire hub assembly on both sides before and everything went smooth without any issues. But this time I took off the hub cover, o ring, and small clip all normal. Then when I squeezed the two prongs to be able to pull the hub assembly out it wouldn't just slide out like normal. I went and hit the hub lightly with a hammer hoping it would pop out but nothing. I'm really stumped and pissed this isn't coming out so I need a little insight.
P.S. the truck is a 1993 with automatic locking hubs if that makes a difference.

Some moisture or water could have gotten in there and rusted the inside a bit. Happened to my locking hubs and I had to clean it out and do a hub rebuild kit. Also, ditch those PoS auto lockers and get some good manual hubs.

How could i get the hub out though, i mean i yanked it as hard as i could while someone else hammered. Also I know the auto lockers are crap and I'll replace them replace them its just they only have 71000 miles on them and seem to function just fine. I mean if it ain't broke don't fix it

Yep, I got it though I had to put the screws in and yank on the screw with some vice grips. I still don't understand why its so hard to get out because they normally just slide out.
