Default Straight pipe and back pressure. What is bad with straight pipes.

I want to straight pipe my truck. 94 f150 5.0. I need to know soon if straight pipes will tear up my engine. Thanks.

I seriously doubt straight pipes will kill your engine, but you could lose some low end torque. If you keep the tubing at 2.5" or smaller it should be fine. I'd throw an h-pipe in there as well.
