Default stock springs differences

So, do 4X4s come with different front coils than a 2X4? Just wondering. I think they do, but i'm not certain.

From what I've seen the coils are the same.

It just seems to me, could just be my imagination, that 4x4s appear to be higher. Oh well!

They usually have larger tires stock. But everywhere I've looked lists the same springs for both. You have a choice of heavy duty, extended cab, short cab, and with or without A/C. And various combinations.
