The speedo in my 1991 f-150 4x4 extended cab dual fuel tank gas guzzling wonder sticks around 55..if I give the dashboard a good wack, it will show the correct speed ( typically 75 here in New Mexico). I really don't want to have to depend on the tach to tell my true speed in od.

oh yeah..my ABS light is on and since the forum s/w doesn't allow 3 letter searches, I'm not having any luck finding out how to go about diagnosing or fixing the litter annoyer. I'll be off to check the fuses, but it goes on only after I move a couple of feet, so I suspect some component fault.

any repair guides on line worth a darn?
