I dont really have any more pictures under the truck.. but mine is a 300 I6.. so it wouldnt be the same set up under the truck anyway...

But i can tell you how mine is ran.. its just straight pipes under the truck.. no cats no mufflers.. pipe runs off the manifold theres a hole for the O2 sensor to screw into.. they go back a little ways more.. then like you see in the picture they wrap around the frame on each side and come straight up through the bed.. theres a glass pack at the bottom of each stack in the bottom of the bed.. (ive got a picture of the glass pack i will put up..) but thats pretty much it..

Heres a picture of one of the glass packs..

these pipes get EXTREMLY hot.. anything that come into contact with them will be melted.. (you can see burnt plastic around the bottom of the stacks..) You have to be careful with them.. because they will burn the livin **** out of you.. ive been burnt by them.. its not fun lol..

Oh and this is 2.5 inch pipe ran all the way..

But I love my truck the way it is.. and it looks alot better flat black than when i got it.. and with it being spray painted i can beat the living hell out of it and not worry about it lol.. if it does get scratched or hit i just walk to the tool box grab a can of spray paint touch it up and 5 minutes later its dry lol..

lmao, i got the exact same paint job as you, and i love it its the easiest paint job to maintain lol... heres my truck

If you do run the stack on the outside of the bed remember that the flaresides on these are fiberglass and can melt. To help keep from getting burnt you should put the same type of shielding that is found on big rig stacks or on a deuce n half.

oh.. ive never had a step side before so i didnt know it was fiberglass.. if your actually running it through fiberglass i can go ahead and tell you now it will melt... if the steps are metal and just the wheel well cover things are fiberglass you should be ok.. as long as the actual pipe goes through metal and not fiberglass

The older step sides, the ones with wood flooring and big round external fenders were steel. The newer flare side beds I have heard were glass on the fenders. The main difference is the size of the fenders and the in bed portion of the fender.
