Want to take a chrome chain and make a foot step into my truck but I don't know exactly what I could hang it from or bolt them to, and then I want to make a oh **** handle out of 550 cord and have it where you would normally find them to get in the truck, has anyone done either of these things? If not I'll figure it out

 

I really like the idea of the oh **** handles. What I would do is use a cobra brade over another cobra brade. Cobra brade is what is normally used for those little survival brackets.

 

Bolt it to where the steps would go. Their is a weld seam on the cab that you could put a couple bolts through the chain then weld seam.
