Default Step Bars Question?

I dont have step bars on my '89, but i want to put some on. I want to keep the bars stock, so I am going to the junkyard to pull a few. Am i going to have to drill holes for the bars to mount them to my truck. How should I go about doing this?

This is the type of step bar I want

You will need to drill some holes on the underside of the cab. I have some pics in 1 of my galleries that shows the step bars I have mounted on my truck. This should give you some idea of what you are looking at, I hope.

Good luck!

Those aren't stock, you can buy those at any auto parts store (pepboys, advance, autozone, etc). That's why it involves drilling. If you actually went and pulled stock steps from a like year f150 I don't think you'd have to drill
