Default Steering stabilizer shock

So I was sittin at work today "workin" and I started to wonde if I put a stabilizer shock in my steering would it wear out my ps pump and my gear box because of the added resistance while turning? Or am I dumbass for even asking?

They are designed to absorb the shock on the steering system when off roading I don't think they add any resistance to the system
