Ok so here's the story... my dad has my 93 F150 Flareside that I bought on the cheap from a friend. It's got quite a few issues but it runs, the biggest problem right now is shortly after I bought it, he lost the key. So he ripped apart the steering column and has to start it with a screwdriver now. I'm planning on bringing the truck up to SD where I go to school but would like to have that replaced before I have to drive it every day. He's more than happy to fix his damage, but doesn't know where to start (the cruise controls and everything are confusing). Anybody on here ever replaced a steering column? Some ideas on where to start would be great, diagrams and the like would be amazing. Thanks!
