Default stating problems

i have a 93 f150 and im having problems starting it. new battery and new soloniod but still not cranking. could it be the connections on the starter or something else?

You should do a search within this forum. That is a pretty general question and its been gone over several times. It could be the starter itself, or bad wiring, or in the ignition. Is it turning over at all? If so it could be fuel related too.

no its not fuel...it just doesnt crank over...when i turn the key all the guages come on..then when i turn it to the start posistion the soloniod clicks and then nothing....i loose all power

i just delt with the same problem... i would also guess what it will prolly jump start.... what the problem with mine was a very thin layer or corrosion on the inside of the battery cable... take a small wire brush or some medium to heavy grit sandpaper and clean the inside of the battery cable... if it dont work... id say pull the starter and take it to an auto parts store... most of them can test starters to see if they are bad
