Fixed!?
ok so today i re-replaced the icm and the ecu and she running again.
but.... im thinking theres a short or an open circuit somewhere because when its running, the battery meter in the dash moves back and forth with the engine.
BUT! i do think this is the fix for anyone haveing the issues i was. i ran into another thread on another site and the guy said he fixed his issue the same way. and sence i have yet to come across a fix anywhere i thought id post this here to help out those in need.
thanks to everyone that helped me on this issue

Try replacing the coil to distributor wire. I had a similar problem several years ago and the coil wire would get hot and open. Then the engine would run when it cooled.

Something you can check
Check out your crankshaft position sensor if it's going bad you won't get any spark at times and other time it can run like a new truck don't know if this will work but hopefully it will help you out

This thread is 10 years old - he probably figured it out by now, or got rid of the truck.
