Default Starting Problems 5.0

I have 1995 F150 with a "new" engine (94 5.0 with about 135k on it.)(New alternator, starter, plugs, wires, and other basic stuff) I swapped the engine out a couple months ago and had no real problems till about 3 weeks ago.
Problem
When I try to start the truck (cold or hot) cranks for a while and doesnt start. I have to crank it a couple times for it to finally start. When it does finally start, the only problem i am getting is High Oil Pressure. I thought it could be a fuel problem since it hasnt been changed in a while. Changed it and truck didnt start again. I changed the oil and started right up for about 10 times and now it is back to not starting again. The one thing i noticed was that the oil very slowly drained out of the filter, and that the oil was smoking still after waiting about 20 mins.

Anyone have ideas of what it could be?

Thanks for the help in advanced.

Start by checking for codes because its not giving up a lot of clues. Usually high oil pressure is caused by a restriction. Check the true pressure with an accurate gauge. Make sure your using the right oil nothing really thick. Check your fuel pressure and spark and IAC. The oil may be unrelated and just a coincidence.

Turns out that the ground connection on my starter was loose do to a missing nut on the ground screw. Replaced the nut and starter right up. Thanks for the help though.

Thanks
Evan
