Default starting problem

ive got a 94 with the 5.0 and when i first start her up after not driving for awhile she fires right up and sounds good. but if i drive a bit. turn it off and within an hour or so if i go to crank it back up it studders like its running cold. what can cause this problem?

p.s. i live in louisiana and its currently 83 so its not cold by any means
