the equalize the pressures between the sides of the engine/pipes, before they exit. Helps it run smoother or somethin.

Hah might as well. I would do it too, but I got smog. Unless you want to send me yours, and I can weld flanges on mine and make them swappable, and rod one out
Lol that's my scrap money!! Lol that all depends on what it turns out to be. I've heard both. Maybe it depends on the engine?? But I know a lot of people that have done interchangeable exhaust parts for testing.

And cam:

"Ford installed two catalytic converters in their F-series trucks and Broncos, in an ongoing effort to reduce emissions from the vehicles. While one catalytic converter is capable of removing most if not all of the noxious gasses, Ford wanted a second converter, known only to the use of: To **** off Jordan"

I thought mine was 2.25 also, but I was measuring at the stock tailpipe. If you measure right behind the cat it's 2.5 or so. it changes all over the place, so measure it right where you're going to be working.

Well wtf. Mine's all 2.5 now, but before I touched anything it was all over. What the hell FERD.

The pipes going into the Y are actually way smaller too, they crimp down before heading in. So you may need to get some tubing and work with that a little bit. Another feature designed by FOMOCO to **** off Jordan. Like California was designed that way too
