spray on bed liner

Default spray on bed liner

I am cincidering putting a spray on bed liner on my truck. Can i do this my self? I do have some body work experience but i just dont know. I want to role it on or brush it on. any sugestions? Also, where should i go to get it.

They sell it at walmart, and most auto parts stores. You can get the kit with a gallon can of it for just under 50 bucks. I've never put the stuff on though. I have sprayed rubberized undercoating, it looks the same but its not quite as durable and it comes in a spray can. Just make sure to clean the bed real good, any grime and loose paint will cause you trouble.

The stuff at walmart is basically paint with some sand added for antislip. Use either duraliner or herculiner for home applied bed liner. The bondo brand is put on thinner than the other two and without adding any friction material is real slick when wet.

I sprayed a bull bar on my truck with the duplicolor stuf, It is basicaly paint with sand. I have a line x bed liner in my truck too and that is fairly good, it is worth the extra money to have a pro do it.

how does this stuff work when you have to take out the carriage bolts out of the bed? pound them up through the linex??? lol

For me they took the bolts out and sprayed them seperate
