Default Speedometer bounce

I found a fix for the bouncing speedometer on another website. My truck is a 95 so this would cover PSOM style. Simply unplug the anitlock brake connection located behind the glove box. Mine only bounced above 70 and doing this fixed it.

So you would rather disable your antilock breaks than have a little bouncae in the gauge? Lol. Seems like a strange fix. How are the 2 related?

Man mine bounced a lot before I put my lift on, while installing it I found two wires touching my rear axel that went to a sensor ontop of the diff they were kind of melted I re spliced them and run them off the axel and when I started it back up I realized I had fixed my speedo so hopefully that will help

I have a front-wheel-drive car that I drive in the winter. I don't think the antilock works very well on these trucks anyway. I think the VSS sends a lockup signal to antilock unit, works in conjunction with the PSOM. Seems pretty straightforward when you think about it.

sounds like your VSS is going out to me, or you just got a bad connection like the other guy had. unhooking the antilocks just seems like a quick fix. but i have to agree, the antilock breaks on these trucks blows....
