Default Spark plug and Gap

Hello Guys , I'm new here and trying to learn the site , I have a 96 F150 4x4 with the 300 6cyl and wanting to know the best plug and gap for my truck . I have a couple of older Buicks I play with so I'm use to turning wrenches so to speak . Any way Thanks in Advance for the help Keith

I have always used Motorcraft or Autolite copper core plugs for my 4.9.You can get them dirt cheap on Rockauto. I wouldn't use anything else and gap them for .044 . No tweaking is necessary. You can confirm on your decal which should be on your air box.

Same plug brands Motorcraft or Autolite but single platinum, I believe that is oem for a 96.

AutoLite copper resistors, just like the VECI label says, and at the gap on that label.
