96' 4x4 5.0 OBD2.

I've had several 5.0 mustangs, Im guessing this smog system is basically the same as those.

Just plug the heads off with big bolts is what I used to do.

Remove the rest of the unnessary stuff, I put a vacuum plug on the exhaust port.

I don't think I can use a shorter belt for this setup, this 5.0 has a tensioner after the smog pump.

A lot of people buy the dead pulley kit when its not neccessary, just buy a shorter belt is all.

Same with AC cars/trucks. Just find the belt number for cars that didn't have AC or measure it yourself.
