That's cool Dusty. I've been nursing this stupid doorman lock for years. I often want to open the back but leave it closed so I don't break the latch. A lock in my neighborhood is a must.

I had a little homemade metal hook that held the screws together on there for a few months, but it could be wedged open from outside, so it was about good as nothing. I don't live anywhere near good junkyards or scrap yards, I didn't realize chevrolets used a steel latch, thats neat..
