Default Sixliter Tune Up

has anyone done or heard of a Sixliter tune to 5.0/5.8

been reading up on this a guy from a different forums.
seems like a lot of people have done it.

wondering if anyone here has done it. im tempted to do it.

iv done it to my 5.0 and my 7.5. its a great little trick to gain a lil more power and fuel economy.

do you mean numbers for the parts or just what i switched,
i did:
coil
cap & rotor
plugs
and wires
then bumped timing to 13

that was on both trucks, it will take me a while if you need part numbers, but you can go to your local parts store and have them order you MSD cap, rotor and coil for your truck, get normal autolight copper plugs, nothing special. and some i believe 9mm wires.

might just be the timing bump we all do.

i havn't done it yet! damn it! haha I do want to though just never found the step by step plus I have the 4.9l Im guessing its just the same for the I6 the timing still 13 degrees and is that advancing or retarding?

advance, you can go as far as 16 but not many engines are int hat good of shape, 12-13 is the norm.

well my trucks got just 120k on it lol but its just as simple as advancing the timing 12degress? and just swap out the coil cap rotor and wires? why the hell didn't i do this before!

No I meant what brands but yeah msd seems the most used.
I'm going with 8.2mm wires and msd 48k coil cap and rotor.
For my 5.8. But I also need a new distributor because the clips are broken
