Default Shot gun shell

I use to have a 91 f 150 and I took the **** off the wipers and lights and got a piece of wood and turned to down on a wood lath and made it to fit inside a 12 gauge shell, put a shot 12 gauge shell over it and superglued them over the litle metal rod. It turned out really nice, I miss that old truck!!!! Anyone elce ever done this?
