Default Shocks

A few Weeks ago I installed new front springs on my 94 4x4. Basically they are springs for a two wheel drive f150...a common practice. Leveled it nicely. Now what shocks should I use on the front of my truck? Just standard two wheel drive f150 shocks?

I've heard great things about Ranco shocks. And if you have an iPhone there's an autozone app you can down load, anyway here is the front shock set at auto zone top two brands. And if you dont have the app just pm me a part and I'll send a pic of it with price.

Thanks, getting the app is no problem, I can do that or use the computer...buy most of my parts from Oreilly's, mainly becuase its closest for me from where I work, but I have also get parts from Autozone, Advance auto parts, NAPA. Really my question is what shock do I need?? I put Moog brand shocks for a 1994 f250 2 wheel drive truck on the front to level the front, but with it raising the front, there isnt as much downward shock travel left. Do I need to get 2 wheel drive F250 shocks? I think thats right, but just checking. I know a lot of other people have done this, just wondering what they use.

Huh, I just looked on their site. For a 94 F150 4x4, just stock, they list the same shock as they do for a stock F250 4x2. Cant think thats right. Seems that by adding 2" to the height of the front I should get a different shock than stock. But the same shock is listed for a F250 4x2 as is listed for a F150 4X4. Hmmmmm

I think I've heard of people using 250 shocks before just go to orileys and ask a cashier what you need for a what ever year your truck is f250.

looks like the 4x2 F250 shock is the same as the F150 4x4 shock.. so would be the same thing as I already have. Just doesnt seem right though.

it's right... thereisnt that much of a difference...

get the Bilstein.. they last alot longer and ride much better... these are whats installed at the factory on Ford, GM and Chrysler... they are the best
