Before the new engine mounts, there was rattle in the shifter. Now there is none, but that was before I jumped the gun and bought the shifter bushing kit. But how-to says grease the plastic bushings and I'm not sure what is best.
Silicon paste for caliper bolts seems the best but is it going to contaminate down into the transmission?
Or is the little silicon ok to mix with transmission?
I'm just worried after reading about silicon and o2 sensors.
