Default Serpentine belt

I have a 95 f150 5.0 previous owner bypassed smog pump and ac compressor and the belt blew i can’t find the size/which belt I’d need to run I’m also curious about the emissions vacuum harness since the vacuum lines are cut would I need to connect them back or could I cap them off/remove

If you have a way to get to the parts store, take the old one to the parts store with you and have the parts counter person match the new one to the old one.


I don't know what the lines are for, but I broke one of those long long ago, I put a piece of tube over it as a coupling. Seemed to work good for about 10 years. ha
I don't remember how old it was, probably less than 5 years. I bumped it with a ratchet handle while changing plugs and the brittle line snapped. The repair was only done once -wish I had more details about the repair I did.

You can rip out as much as you like - it's your truck. But as you're learning, ripping sh-stuff out doesn't make the truck more reliable, or easier to maintain. If you want it to run well, at the lowest cost per mile, get it back as close to factory condition as possible. It is NOT expensive or difficult to repair the air pump (if there's anything wrong with it besides the missing pulley) or all the vacuum lines.
